OUR CURRENT VACANCIES
MANUFACTURING DISCOVERY SPECIALIST
PERMANENT/FULL-TIME
€Competitive, DOE
IRELAND / REMOTE-FIRST - REGULAR CLIENT TRAVEL DUBLIN, GALWAY, CORK, WATERFORD
We are looking for a Manufacturing Discovery Specialist who can sit at the centre of the conversation between the shop floor and the technology team. Not a pure business analyst. Not a consultant who has only seen manufacturing from the outside. Someone who genuinely understands how industrial operations work – the systems, the decision points, the exceptions that never make it into the documentation – and can turn that understanding into clear, buildable requirements that operational teams and data engineers can actually use.
You will run discovery workshops with subject matter experts, map end-to-end operational processes, and translate what you learn into dashboard logic, automation rules and data specifications. A typical engagement involves walking a core operational process step by step with the people who run it, capturing every system touchpoint and exception, then shaping that into a future-state design that removes manual spreadsheet effort and surfaces the right signals at the right time.
Key requirements:
Operational domain knowledge in at least one of supply chain, engineering and maintenance, or quality – ideally in a regulated or asset-intensive environment
Proven ability to run discovery workshops and interviews with operational experts and turn what you hear into structured, accurate process and data models
Strong business analysis skills: requirements, user stories, process mapping, and acceptance criteria
Systems fluency across ERP, asset/maintenance, quality and laboratory, and data platforms – able to discuss specific fields, statuses and data flows with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to define metrics, SLAs, signalling logic and automation rules that reflect how the business actually operates
Confident, structured communicator who can manage a room across varied technical fluency and keep sessions focused
Approximately 3–7 years of relevant experience
Direct experience with ERP (e.g. SAP), CMMS/EAM, quality or laboratory systems, or analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI – desirable but not essential
Consulting or client-facing delivery experience on data, digital or operational transformation programmes – desirable but not essential
What we offer:
Work at the frontier of AI adoption in manufacturing – you will see transformation happen in real time
A genuinely mission-motivated company – we believe AI should create meaningful work, not just cut headcount
A clear path to Senior Specialist level at a company scaling from 50 to 200+
How to apply:
Submit your details via https://http---hbossbrightbeam.com/apply and include your CV with a brief cover note explaining why this role interests you, what you would bring to Brightbeam, and one specific example of how you have used AI tools to improve your work. Quality over length.
Any questions: careers@brightbeam.com

Brightbeam is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are happy to discuss accommodations or adjustments to our process.

SENIOR MANUFACTURING DISCOVERY SPECIALIST
PERMANENT/FULL-TIME
€Competitive, DOE
IRELAND / REMOTE-FIRST - REGULAR CLIENT TRAVEL DUBLIN, GALWAY, CORK, WATERFORD
We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Discovery Specialist to lead discovery strategy across Brightbeam's manufacturing and industrial engagements. Not someone who wants to run a single workstream well. Someone who wants to own the end-to-end discovery approach across supply chain, engineering and maintenance, and quality – shaping solution direction, influencing senior client stakeholders, and making the specialists around them better in the process.
You will lead discovery across multiple domains and workstreams within a single engagement, coach and review mid-level specialists, and earn the trust of plant directors and operations leads based on what you find and what you recommend. If you are a recognised expert in at least one manufacturing domain, credible enough to lead across all three, and ready to set the standard rather than follow it, this role is for you.
Key requirements:
Recognised depth in at least one of supply chain, engineering and maintenance, or quality – and credible enough to lead discovery across all three
Proven ability to lead discovery across multiple operational domains simultaneously, managing scope, stakeholder complexity and team quality within a single engagement
Track record of influencing senior client stakeholders – plant directors, operations leads, quality heads – based on discovery findings and solution recommendations
Experience coaching or mentoring more junior business analysts or discovery specialists and raising the quality of their outputs
Strong business analysis skills: requirements, user stories, process mapping, and the ability to shape solution direction and the case for change at engagement level
Systems fluency across ERP, asset/maintenance, quality and laboratory, and data platforms
Confident, structured communicator equally at home in an executive stakeholder conversation and a detailed process walkthrough with operational staff
Ten or more years of relevant experience
Direct experience with ERP (e.g. SAP), CMMS/EAM, quality or laboratory systems, or analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI – desirable but not essential
Consulting or client-facing delivery experience on data, digital or operational transformation programmes – desirable but not essential
What we offer:
Lead the discovery function on Brightbeam's most complex manufacturing engagements
Work at the frontier of AI adoption in manufacturing – you will see transformation happen in real time
A genuinely mission-motivated company – we believe AI should create meaningful work, not just cut headcount
A fast-scaling environment where your expertise shapes the practice, not just your workstream

ENGAGEMENT LEAD – MANUFACTURING
PERMANENT/FULL-TIME
€COMPETITIVE
IRELAND / REMOTE-FIRST – REGULAR CLIENT TRAVEL DUBLIN, GALWAY, CORK, WATERFORD
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engagement Lead who will be Brightbeam's credibility anchor in the sector. Not a generalist. Not a pure business development hire. Someone who has spent real time inside manufacturing – on the shop floor, in the maintenance function, in the CI programme – and is now ready to use that knowledge to help manufacturing clients transform with AI. If you can walk into a plant, establish credibility with an engineering director within an hour, and shape an AI engagement from operational insight rather than slide decks, this role is for you.
You will run discovery and scoping with manufacturing clients, build and grow a pipeline of accounts across Ireland, and transfer deep sector context across the Brightbeam team – upskilling engineers and Solutions Directors on the language and norms of manufacturing operations.
Key requirements:
Deep manufacturing domain expertise – mechanical, electrical, or process engineering background, or significant operational experience in a manufacturing environment
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or equivalent process improvement background – desirable but not essential
Consultative instincts – able to shape engagements from operational insight, not just manage relationships
Ireland-based with full site mobility; own transport required
Hands-on practitioner mindset – you have done the work yourself, not just managed people who did it
What we offer:
A genuinely mission-motivated company – we believe AI should create meaningful work, not just cut headcount
A four-day working week and fully remote working
A fast-scaling environment where your contribution is visible and valued
The chance to build the manufacturing practice at a company scaling from 50 to 200+
Work at the frontier of AI adoption in manufacturing – you will see transformation happen in real time

HEAD OF PEOPLE
PERMANENT/FULL-TIME
€100,000 - €120,000
IRELAND-BASED, REMOTE – MONTHLY TEAM MEETINGS DUBLIN/WATERFORD
This is a rare opportunity to define what a Head of People role looks like in the AI era. At Brightbeam, every role is being reimagined by AI – and that includes this one. You will join our Senior Management Team, report directly to the CEO, and build people systems for a company where the traditional HR playbook simply does not apply. The focus is 80% coaching, L&D, and retention – 20% hard HR. At 50 people, you are the team.
You will equip managers, design learning programmes, build performance systems, and drive the organisation through continuous transformation. If you have built people infrastructure at a scaling services company before and want to build again – from scratch, at speed, in an environment where AI is reshaping what every role means – this is the role for you.
What you will deliver in the first 12 months:
An onboarding system where new hires grasp how Brightbeam works – including how AI shapes the way we operate
AI-augmented role definitions and career paths for every role, with people equipped for the transition
A lightweight performance system focused on development, clear indicators, and firm action on underperformance
A retention strategy where people become more valuable the longer they stay – targeting retention of high performers
Cross-functional infrastructure that maintains 'one Brightbeam' while scaling from 50 to 200+
Key requirements:
Deep expertise in coaching, L&D, and manager enablement – you work through managers, not around them. L&D background strongly preferred
Has personally managed transformation where roles fundamentally changed – not just participated in one, and not just digitised
Has built people infrastructure during scaling (50-200 people), ideally in a services business
Designs lightweight processes that create clarity without bureaucracy
Naturally aligns with our cultural mantras: outcome-focused, deliberately fair, continuous improvement, and showing not telling
Uses AI daily and sees their own role as being transformed by it
Personable, direct, and genuinely invested in people – prioritises coaching and retention above all else
This role is for you if:
You want to write the book on what a Head of People does in the AI era. You find the blank canvas exciting. You get stuck in and build from scratch. You thrive in chaos, prioritise friction removal over perks, and bring calm confidence to grey areas.
This role is probably not for you if:
Your experience is primarily in large, established organisations. Your strength is in hard HR rather than people development. You need structure and predictability. You have moved past getting into the weeds. You see AI as just a tool.
How to apply:
Submit your details via https://http---hbossbrightbeam.com/apply and include your CV with a brief cover note on why this role interests you and what you would bring to Brightbeam. Quality over length.

PERMANENT/FULL-TIME
€130,000 - €160,000
IRELAND / REMOTE-FIRST – REGULAR CLIENT TRAVEL DUBLIN, GALWAY, CORK, WATERFORD
We are looking for a client-focused professional who builds the type of relationships that make enterprises rely on you for their most consequential AI programmes. As Solution Director – Delivery and Engagement at Brightbeam, you will own senior client relationships, drive delivery excellence across 3-4 concurrent engagements, and grow Brightbeam's commercial presence within enterprise accounts. You work in close partnership with a Solution Director – Technical Solutions counterpart who provides architectural direction – jointly you provide complete account management.
This role was created because overloading a single person with both technical architecture and account management limits the candidate pool and produces mediocre outcomes on both fronts. The split is deliberate. Your focus is the relationship, the delivery, and the growth of the account.
Key requirements:
Significant experience in account management, delivery oversight, or client engagement in professional services, consulting, or systems integration
Proven track record managing senior enterprise client relationships
Commercial experience – proposals, contracts, and account growth
Experience overseeing multiple concurrent engagements with delivery governance
Sufficient technical literacy to bridge engineering teams and business stakeholders
Our hiring process:
This assessment focuses on architectural capability, technical credibility, and communication.
Background discussion (30 minutes) – career motivations, mission alignment, and account and delivery experience
Delivery and commercial deep dive (90 minutes) – structured interview: stakeholder management, governance judgements, and commercial engagement
Account strategy simulation and career deep dive (90 minutes) – live account scenario followed by values discussion
We aim to complete the process within 3-4 weeks. We will keep you informed at every stage and provide feedback where we can.

SOLUTION DIRECTOR – TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS
PERMANENT/FULL-TIME
€130,000 - €160,000
IRELAND / REMOTE-FIRST – REGULAR CLIENT TRAVEL DUBLIN, GALWAY, CORK, WATERFORD
We are looking for a technical authority who can oversee architecture across Brightbeam's project portfolio, translate complex technical judgements for enterprise stakeholders, and build the engineering capability of the teams around them. As Solution Director – Technical Solutions, you will work in close partnership with a Solution Director – Delivery and Engagement counterpart who owns the client relationship and commercial engagement - leaving you free to focus entirely on architectural coherence and technical excellence.
This role was created deliberately: combining technical solution architecture with account management in a single person limits both the quality of the architecture and the depth of the client relationship. At Brightbeam, we have split the role so both tracks can be done properly.
Key requirements:
Significant experience in senior technical roles with solution architecture oversight and multi-project management
Minimum 3 years writing production code – non-negotiable for technical credibility
Proven enterprise architecture capability across compliance, security, data governance, and legacy integration
Exceptional technical communication across all stakeholder levels
Track record of building engineering capability through mentorship and influence
Our hiring process:
This assessment focuses on architectural capability, technical credibility, and communication.
Background discussion (30 minutes) – career motivations, mission alignment, and technical experience
Technical assessment (90 minutes) – architecture thinking, engineering standards, and translating complexity for non-technical stakeholders
Architecture review and career deep dive (90 minutes) – multi-project scenario plus PROB-methodology career walkthrough, with at least one-third focused on failures and learning

IRELAND / REMOTE-FIRST – REGULAR CLIENT TRAVEL DUBLIN, GALWAY, CORK, WATERFORD

We are looking for a Senior Digital Intelligence Engineer who sits at the junction of serious data science and production engineering.
